SUBJECT: PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION LETTER - R-2017-33, RM-2017-39
This letter confirms the decision of the Planning Commission, given at the meeting of November 12,
2019, denying an appeal and upholding the Director's approval of a Residential Design Review permit
to allow the construction of a 520 square foot first floor addition and a new 820 square foot second story
addition with a second story setback less than 15 feet; and a Minor Residential Permit to allow a balcony
on the new second story at an existing single family residence, located 21865 San Fernando Avenue,
according to Planning Commission Resolution No.(s) 6887 and 6888.
Please be aware that if this Permit is not used within a one-year period, it shall expire on November 12,
2020.
Also, please note that an appeal of this decision can be made within 14 calendar days from the date of
the decision. If this happens, you will be notified of a public hearing, which will be scheduled before
the City Council.
