Reso 0098RESOLUTION NO. 98 (Minute Order) A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO WHEREAS, Yuich L. Nakano presented an application to the Architectural and Site Approval Committee requesting approval of site, architecture and signs for the Azuma Restaurant, Portal Plaza Shopping Center, which application was approved by that body on June 23, 1971; WHEREAS, a further application was presented by the owner of the property, George K. Yamaoka, to the Architectural and Site Approval Committee requesting approval of the architecture of the air conditioning screening for the Azuma Restaurant, this application: filed under protest. The Architectural and Site Approval Committee recommended denial of this application. ?-`,rHEREAS, drawings presented to the Architectural and Site h:oproval Committee had riot included air conditioning screening, t'e City Council referred this application back to the Committee for further review on August 2, 1971. WHEREAS, the owner of.the property, Mr. Yamaoka, submitted a further application requesting approval of the architecture of appurtenance screening on the roof of the Azuma Restaurant and this application was approved by the Architectural and Site Approval Committee with conditions on August 4,.1971, and denied by the City Council at its meeting of August lb, 1971. WHEREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Committee requested James H.-Sisk, Planning Director, to investigate and convey their discontent with the outcome of the application for screening of this air conditioning equipment. THEREFORE, this Committee requests James H. Sisk, Planning Director, to investigate and convey their discontent with the outcome of the application for approval of the screening of this air conditioning equipment. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of September, 1971, at a regular meeting of the Architectural and Site Approval.
