Reso 08879 HC-51,421.3 RESOLUTION NO. 887 ® OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING A SIGN PROGRAM CONSISTING OF A FREESTANDING AND BUILDING -MOUNTED SIGNS FOR AN OFFICE COMPLEX AND AN ADJACENT WESTERLY SITE: PROPERTY OWNER: Pacific Valley Bank APPLICANT: Warren B. Heid ADDRESS: P.O. Box 14, Saratoga, California 95070 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: North side of Stevens Creek Boulevard, easterly of De Anza Boulevard -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this application: 1. Subject sites possess a cumulative total of greater than 200 ft. of street frontage. Therefore, a free-standing sign is permitted with consolidated usage in accordance with Section 6.03.3 of Ordinance 746. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that ® they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions, -as enumerated herein shall apply. C 9. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits F, F-1, and F-2 of this application except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 10. One p.aneL-of .the approved ground sign'depicted:`.in. Exhibit F ,shall b.e reserved in perpetuity for a tenant of the adjacent westerly site. At such time as said panel is devoid of specific identification, the face shall be Blue #326 plex, as per Exhibit F of this application. 11. The free-standing sign shall be situated a minimum of 15 ft. from the property line adjoining Stevens Creek Boulevard, subject to the review and approval of Public Works and Planning staffs at the building permit level. 1.2. The height of subject free-standing sign shall not exceed 10 ft. 10 inches above the adjacent curb line; said requirement shall be specified on plans submitted for permit approval. 13. Subject to staff review and approval, at least one street number shall be placed on the lower board of the free-standing sign. The applicant shall consult with the Building Department to determine, if possible, the future street address for the adjacent westerly site. 14. Prior to release of permits for subject free-standing sign, the' -.applicant shall remove the Pacific Valley Bank directional sign currently situated adjacent to the Stevens Creek Boulevard entrance. -1- KC-51,421.3 RESOLUTION NO. 387 (continued) 15. At such time as building mounted signing is necessary, the applicant shall return to the Architectural and Site Approval Committee for review. -.and approval of criteria for said signing. 16. The Architectural and Site Approval Committee or its staff shall have the authority to review and require correction of any off -site light intrusion impacts from any sign approved under this application.
