OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL
COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SITE AND
ARCHITECTURAL PLANS TO RELOCATE AN
OUTDOOR GARDEN SHOP FROM THE WEST
TO THE EAST SIDE OF AN EXISTING
COMMERCIAL BUILDING.

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to
this application:
1. Relocation of the garden shop shall not have an adverse aesthetic effect.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that
isthey do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In
the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated
herein shall apply.
8. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A-l..and B=1..of this
application except as may be amended by special conditions contained
herein.
9. Four trees shall be planted down the center of the parking aisle in the east
parking lot.
10. Groundcover shall be installed under the four trees located by the two
driveways off Alves Drive.
11. The existing ground sign shall be replaced with a new ground sign consistent
with Sign Ordinance No. 746. The new sign shall be installed prior to the
final building inspection for the relocated garden shop. The new sign shall
be subject to informal ASAC review.
Relocate the- -bus stop bench onStevens Creek Boulevard by- -the intersection of
Stevens -Creek Boulevard and Bandley Drive. This bench is located in front of
::the.applicant'.s property.. The.bench shall be relocated to_the planter area
behind the.sidewalk.'_subject to the approval of the Public Works Department.
This shall include removing a portion of the planter to accommodate the bench.
The benches shall be relocated prior to the final building inspection for the
garden shop.
