for the condominium residential portion of the project
The project is located easterly of Torre Avenue between
Stevens Creek: Boulevard and Rodrigues Avenue.
Concerns o-F the Committee regarding deletion of the
balconies were as follow:
Two Members in favor of retention from an aesthetic.
viewpoint but questioned the usefulness of these
relatively small spaces. Another Member had no strong
Feelings one way or the other.
Concerns regarding the modified architectural concept for
the residential phase were as -follows:
- Assent to all. changes described in the staff report of
May 9, 11784. <

Concerns of the Committee werie expressed as follow:
- The flat roof does not include a mechanical well;
placement of package units etc. to be within► the
buiA ding enclosure.
- No restrooms provided inl' the new buildings. Access to
restrooms in the adjoining building to west will be
facilitated by a I partially enclosed walkway.
Applicants are encourag d to provide restrooms in the
new building as an enhancement to public convenience.

Concerns of the Committee were expressed as follow:
Visual relationship to t'hI-e adjoining shopping center to
south, especially coordination of root" materials and
colors is encouraged. Applicant must provide a
comprehensive project �aterials board for ASAC review
prior to construction.
- Applicant should a.ttemt to reduce the finish floor
level and lower the apparent height of the roof -line.
- Height and placement of the masonry sound wall on the
west side of tl to project, should be coordinated with the
adjoining homeoviners.
- Alignment of the center driveway with Duckett Way
ShOUId be coordinated with Cal -Trans to provide a

of Standard ASAC Condition No.. _ for a microwave dish
antenna located on Building 47 at the west side of Tantau
Avenue north of Pruneridge Avenue north of Prunpridge
Avenue.
Committee Member Miller declined to participate in this
discussion as hie is an employee of the Hewlett PacIfar d
Company. As a result, a quarem was not pr esent . However*,
it was the consensus of the Commit -tee that the proposed
antenna may be installed subject to painting and placement
restrictions described in the application file.
Accordingly, this application will be placed on the Consent
Calendar for ASAC on May 29, 1984 followed by placement on
the City Council Consent Calendar for June 4, 1984.
