Reso 0926i HC-51,015.21 RESOLUTION NO. 926 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING A SIGN PROGRAM FOR THAT PORTION OF AN EXISTING SHOPPING CENTER UNDER THE OWNERSHIP OF PAULINE WOODRUFF. PROPERTY OWNER: Pauline W; Woodruff and Ethelwynne Wilson APPLICANT: Hare, Brewer & Kelley, Incorporated ADDRESS: 305 Lytton Avenue, Palo Alto, California 94301 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and De Anza Boulevard (Cupertino Crossroads) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS: u' The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this•application: 1. That the existing sign dimensions for each tenant space have previously been approved by the City, and shall therefore be permitted to remain. This finding does not pertain to spaces occupied by Scotty's Cleaners, Golden Horn Restaurant, Sofa Bed Ltd., and Crocker Bank. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-8.. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 9. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits F and F-1 of this application except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 10. At such time as any change in copy is requested, the Golden Horn Restaurant and Scotty's Cleaner shall be required to effect the following changes: a. Delete one sigh b. The remaining sign shall have the following dimensions: Height - 3 ft. Maximum length as permitted by Ordinance 746. C. Comply with colors specified in Exhibit F. 11. The Sofa Bed Ltd. tenant shall be required to comply with the following sign provisions immediately: a. Height - 3 ft. Maximum length as permitted by Ordinance 746 b. Colors as per Exhibit F -1- HC-51,015:21 Resolution No. 926 (continued) 12. The approval of subject application shall not be construed to constitute approval for existing signs in the Crossroads Center which do not possess legal sign permits. Said signs shall be made to comply with provisions of the approved'sign program immediately. 13. As per Sign Ordinance provisions, existing signs with valid sign permits shall be allowed to remain even though they do not meet the approved sign program color criteria, until such time any change of face is requested. 14. The Architectural and Site Approval Committee or its staff shall retain the authority to review and require correction of off -site light intensity impacts for any sign approved under this application. 15.. Marie...Callendars, Montgomery Place,Straw Hat':Pizza.and-Gourmet'.#1`tenants shall not be required to comply with provisions of the approved sign program. Individual signing shall be approved for each of these tenants by staff, when necessary. 16. Dark brown cabinets shall be required for Scotty's Cleaners, Golden Horn Restaurant and Sofa Bed, Ltd. signs. 17.
