Reso 1222ASAC 51,648.1 RESOLUTION NO. 1222 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DENYING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT SIGN PROGRAM FOR AN EXISTING RETAIL STORE PROPERTY OWNER: Sutro/G L Realty Funds APPLICANT: California Neon Products ADDRESS: 4530 Mission Gorge Place San_Diego, CA. 92120 LOCATION: Stevens Creek Blvd at Bandley Avenue FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard to this application: 1) That the proposed freestanding sign height is excessive, and will be largely ineffectual in relation to the height of adjacent trees in the landscape area. 2) That the proposed design of the pole sign is not aesthetically pleasing, and should be replaced with a monument display which is in keeping with the existing landscape features of the site frontage.
