OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DENYING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
SIGN PROGRAM FOR AN EXISTING RETAIL STORE

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard
to this application:
1) That the proposed freestanding sign height is excessive, and will be
largely ineffectual in relation to the height of adjacent trees in
the landscape area.
2) That the proposed design of the pole sign is not aesthetically
pleasing, and should be replaced with a monument display which is in
keeping with the existing landscape features of the site frontage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of July, 1986, at a regular meeting of
the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino,
