OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT APPLICANT: Cal -Neon Signs PROPERTY OWNER: Imwalle Stegner APPLICANT'S ADDRESS: 1577 Almaden Road, San Jose, Calif. 95125 PROJECT LOCATION: Homestead Rd. and Blaney Ave. INN IN The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard to this application: 1) The sign program is consistent with the provisions of Sections 17.24.290 and 17.28.120 of the Municipal Code. 00NDITIONS: 1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed herein shall prevail. ® 9) The approval is based upon sign exhibits dated April 26, 1989 of ASAC 51,851.1, except as may be amended by conditions enumerated herein. 10) The location of the ground sign is subject to the approval of the City Traffic Engineer. The sign shall be placed perpendicular to Homestead Road for better visibility. 11) The address of the building shall be included on the ground sign. 12) A maximum of three tenant names may be displayed simultaneously on the ground sign, inclusive of both sides. 13) Tenants shall be limited to one building mounted sign. Signs shall be mounted on the north elevation only. 14) The following criteria shall apply to tenant signs: a. colors: red, white, blue, yellow, ivory, green b. sign type: internally illuminated channel letters, script or san-serif typography. c. size limitations: 18 inch letter height, length not to exceed 70% of the building frontage which the business occupies d. modules and logos: maximum of one per tenant sign e. mounting location: wall signs on building fascia 0 0 0 Resolution No. 1469 ASAC 51,851.1 Page -2- 15) A single tenant sign may go above the arches on the north elevation. If there are to be two tenant signs in this area, they should be located within the top of the arches. 16) The design of the ground sign will be discussed at a subsequent ASAC Meeting and is not a part of this approval.
