FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with
regards to this application:
1. The monument sign is consistent with the limitations prescribed for
service stations as defined in Title XVII of the Municipal Code,
2. The installation of the monument sign will result in the removal of a
nonconforming pole sign.
3. Extraordinary circumstances —pole, traffic signal box.
OONDI'TIONS :
1-8) Standard Architectural & Site Approval Committee conditions to the
extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed
herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed
herein shall prevail.
9) The approval is based upon sheets S-1 and S-2, revised September 27,
1989 of application ASAC 51,855.2 except as may be amended by
conditions enumerated herein
10) Sign type #6 on the referenced exhibits are not approved. Legally
required price displays shall be included in the monument sign, as
provided in the municipal code.
11) The existing pole sign and the additional freestanding price sign
(green background with yellow lettering) located on the Homestead Road
frontage may remain until the monument sign is installed.
12) All unapproved signs, with the exception of those specifically
mentioned in condition 10, shall be removed from the site prior to
issuance of a building permit.
13) All previous conditions of approval contained within ASAC Resolution
1473 not modified by this approval remain in full force and effect.
