FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds that a sign ordinance
review subcommittee will accomplish the following objectives:
1) Forming a subcolmnittee will allow input from the Architectural and
Site Approval Committee, the Chamber of Commerce, and City staff to
develop an ordinance which will be mutually beneficial to the City and
the business, and residential canmunity.
2) Input from the business and residential comwnity will be beneficial
to the &A=xmnittee and ASAC when reviewing the Sign Ordinance.
1) The voting members of the subcammittee shall be comprised of two
members of ASAC selected from among themselves, two representatives
from the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce, mnerce, one City staff member
appointed by the Director of Community Development.
• 2) ASAC will delineate the goals, objectives and general direction the
subcommittee shall follow when reviewing the Ordinance.
3) The Subcommittee shall hold one session to receive public input.
4) ASAC shall review, change, modify, or retain the re=mendations of
the subcommittee and make a final recommendation to the City Council
for final review and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of April, 1992 at the regular meeting of
the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino,
State of California, by the following roll call vote:
