Reso 1681RESOLUTION NO. 1681 14 ASAC-92 OF THE ARCIECTECIURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVAL OF AN EXCEPTION TO THE SIGN ORDINANCE FOR AN EXISTING BUILDING LOCATED ® IN A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE. APPLICANT: The Driving Machine PROPERTY OWNER James Payne ADDRESS: 10100 Bubb Rd. PROJECT LOCATION: East side of Bubb Rd. approximately 300 ft. South of Stevens Creek Blvd. FINDINGS: 0 The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard to this application: 1) That approval of the monument sign is consistent with the purposes and intent of the Sign Ordinance and meets the requirements for granting an exception 2) That a monument sign is needed for site visibility and is compatible with the other signs in the area. For these reasons ASAC has waived the 200 ft. rule requirement and granted an exception. CONDITIONS: 1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed herein shall prevail. 9) The approval is based upon sign criteria exhibit dated March 9, 1992 except as may be amended by conditions enumerated herein. 10) The monument sign shall be a maximum of 518" high and 45" wide. 11) The monument sign shall be located outside the sidewalk site triangle as depicted on Cupertino Standard Detail 7-6. 12) The East facing building sign is not approved as part of this application and is continued to the next meeting of April 13, 1992.
