ITEM 1) APPLICATION ASAC 51,865.2 - TANDEM COMPUTER (10400 N.
® Tantan Ave. Requesting approval of a Planned Development
Sign Program for an existing, multi -tenant industrial/office
building located on the East side of Tantau Avenue 500' N. of the I-280
overcrossing.
A representative from Tandem was present.
ISSUES:
- None
DECISION:
- On a 4-0 vote ASAC 51,865.2 was approved per the findings and
conditions contained within the model resolution.
ITEM 2) APPLICATION ASAC 51,890.1 - GABRIEL Requesting approval
of front yard landscaping for a detached homesite within a
residential planned development located East of Scenic Boulevard
450' North of Palm Avenue.
Cynthia Gabriel was present.
ISSUES:
- The use of drip irrigation lines should be used for irrigation of
trees.

(BRITISH PETROLEM) Requesting approval of a monument
sign (part Planned Development Sign Program) for a service station
located on the northwest comer of Homestead Road and N. DeAnza
Boulevard.
Larry Izzo from Robert H. Lee & I'IAssociates was present for this item.

By 4-0 vote, ASAC 51,855.2 approved per the findings and conditions
contained within the model resolution, with the following finding
No. 3 being added, Condition No. 114 being added and Condition No. 10
modified as follows: j •
Finding No. 3. Extraordinary circumstances -- pole, traffic signal
box.
Condition No. 10. Sign type !Oi on the referenced exhibits are not
approved. Legally required price display shall be building ineenfed

building located on the Northeast comer of Bubb and McClellan
Roads.
ISSUES:
- Is building materials inappropriate for site.
Amount of windows proposed.
DECISION:
By a 4-0 vote ASAC 51,885.1 was continued to the next regular meeting
of December 3, 1989 to allow the applicant time to prepare and revise
site plans.
