Requesting approval of site, architecture and landscaping for a
proposed 40,000 s.f. expansion to an industrial office building
located on the northwest corner of Bubb and McClellan Roads.
II) BACKGROUND
The City Council continued this item from the Agenda of June 6,
1988, with direction to the applicant to relocate the proposed
addition. The designer has prepared a series of refinements to the
proposed "corner" location; however„ the materials were not
delivered in sufficient time to allow staff review at this writing.
It is their intent to distribute these items to -the Council under
separate cover.

Applicant requests approval of architectural and site modifications to an existing 18,000 square
foot office/industrial building.
DISCUSSION:
A. Applicant proposes numerous modifications to the existing facilities including the following:
1. Repaint building with a white, gray and black color scheme. A color board will be available
at the meeting.
2. Install 6'-6" deep landscape planter along north and south sides of building
3. Restripe and increase the number of parking spaces
4. Remove existing roof and ground equipment.
5. Install windows on the north side of the building
B. Condition of approval require removal of existing mechanical equipment. New equipment will
be screened from public view. The final landscape plan will be reviewed by staff.
RECOMMENDATION:
A. ASAC members found the project to be a substantial improvement to the site and building.
The Committee had no major concerns.
B. ASAC recommends approval of Application ASAC 51,790.1 per the findings and conditions
contained within ASAC Resolution No. 1383.
