PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 53
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DENYING
THE GRANTING OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM A-2: B-4, R-3-H, AND R-1: B-2 ZONE TO
A C-1-H ZONE.
WHEREAS, the attached application has been submitted to the City of
Cupertino requesting a change of zone in the zoning regulations of the
City from an A-2: B-4, R-3-H and R-1:B-2 District to a C-i-H District;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held at least one public hearing
in regard to the application on the date as noted on said application;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly considered and heard all
evidence submitted in regard to said application; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given as required by
the zoning ordinance of the City of Cupertino.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the Planning Commission finds that the proposed zone change
does not:
a Encourage the moot appropriate use of land,
• b Provide for the orderly development of the City,
c Be advantageous to the property and improvements in the zon-
ing district and neighborhood in which the property is lo-
cated.
2. That said Planning Commission, therefore, reports unfavorably to
the City Council in the matter of granting said zone change.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 8th day of May, 1961, at a regular meeting
of the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Fitch, Leonard, Snyder, Small
NAYS: Commissioners: Bagar
ABSENT: Commissioners: Rampy
ABSTAIN: Commissioners: Adamo
