Reso 144 File No. 88-Z-63 Zone Change PLANNING COMMISSION -RESOLUTION NO. lt RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OFTHE--CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOM- MENDING GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE FROM AN R--1:B-2 ZONE TO AN R-1 ZONE. WHEREAS, the attached application has been submitted to ;. e City of Cupertino requesting a change of zone in the zoning regula :ions of the City from an R-1:B-2 District to an Ra-1 District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commisslc has held at least one pr)blic hear- ing in regard to the application on t:ce date as noted on said applica- tion; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly considered and heard all evidence submitted in regard to said application; and WHEREAS, the necessary public ny'_Lces have been given as required by the zoning ordinance of the City r_f Cupertino. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEf'. 1. That the Planning Commission finds that the proposed zone change: (a) Encourages the most appropriate use of land, ® (b) Conserves and stabilizes the value of property, c) Provides for adequate open spaces for light and ai:o, d) Permits adequate control of fires, e) Promotes the health, safety and public welfare, f) Provides for the orderly development of the City, g) Is advantageous to the property and improvements in the zoning district and neighborhood in which the property is located. 2. That said Planning Commissions therefore, reports favorably to the City Council in the matter of granting said zone change.
