PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO, 151
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOM-
MENDING GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE FROM AN A, M--1, & A 2; B-4 to PC-H ZONE.
WHEREAS, the attached application has been submitted to the City
of Cupertino requesting a, change of zone in. the zoning regulations of
the City from an A, M-1 & A�.2 gB-4 District to an PC-H District; and
WHEREAS; the Planning Commission has held at least one Public
hearing in regard to the application on the date as noted on said .
application; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly considered and heard
all evidence submitted 1;.2 .regard to said application; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given as re-
quired by the zoning ordinance of the City of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, the proponents of this application have submitted a
broad and comprehensize plan that has been wsll thought out and in-
telligently presented; and
WHEREAS, the Vallco plan presents an opportunity to the City of
Cupertino that is a great and momentous step forward for the City of
Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, long range ob j actives have been r:,,sen,ced, and
WHEREAS, a comprehensive traffic circulation plan has been pre-
sented; and

City and residents of the City of Cupertino.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That this Commission recommend to the City Council that Ap-
plication 94-Z-63_ be approved :subject to the conditions, of the PC-H
Ordinance.
2. The Commission 2uri her ... eco nn.qends that the two (2) ,.sug-
gestions- pertaining to height change and buffering be considered
by the City Council;

13 That the streets of Merritt- and Amherst 'dead end at
the Vallco development
14 That previous agreements between the City of Cupertino
and City of Santa Clara regarding streets opening into
® the Vallco development be preserved;
15 That buffering (planted) be provided" as proposed along
Linnet Lane
