PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 157
411 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino received
the application of SHELL OIL COMPANY for a USE PERMIT for a service
station; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has met the burden of proof required to sup-
port his said application.
WHEREAS, this presentation is essentially the same as the presen-
tation which was presented to the Planning Commission one year ago;and
WHEREAS, the Commission feels that this applicant will establish
E a precedent for the quality architectural design of service stations
desired in this area; and
WHEREAS, this is an integral part of the commercial development
which will draw business for and from the establishment, we now reaf-
firm our position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits and _
other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for the USE
PERMIT be, and the same is hereby granted, subject to the following
conditions which are attached hereto and made a part hereof is Ex-
hibit "A";

13 Construction as per plans presented at hearing.
B7 IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the report of findings attached hereto be approved and
adopted, and that the Secretary be, and is hereby directed to notify
the parties affected by this decision.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Cu-
pertino, State of California, this 23d day of September, 1963, by the
following roll call vote :
AYES: Commissioners, Adamo, Fitzgerald, Leonard, Rampy, Small,
Snyder, Frolich
