Reso 168 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 168 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO BEING A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO INITIATE AN AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 002, AS AMENDED, BY ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS FOR OFF-STREET PARKING WITHIN THE CITY TO BE KNOWN AS "ORDINANCE NO.. 002(q)". WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 002, as amended, does not make adequate provision for off-street parking within the City, and WHEREAS, it is to the best interests of the City and the•general 'welfare of the inhabitants thereof that requirements be established for off-street parking within the City, and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 002(a) provides for the initiation of amendments to the City Zoning Ordinance upon resolution by the Planning Commission of the City; ' • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That the Planning• Commission hereby 'initiates an amend- ment to the aforesaid zoning ordinance which amendment is annexed hereto and made part hereof as Exhibit "A" and entitled "Ordinance No. 002(q)"; 2. That November 13, 1963 has been set as the date for public hearing before the Planning Commission,, and that the Secretary of the Planning Commission shall publish notice of hearing date as provided by law.
