CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chair Mohanty called the meeting to order at 7:07 pm
ROLL CALL
Commissioners Present: Prabir Mohanty, Naidu Bollineni, Mukesh Garg, Rajaram
Soundararajan, Eliza Du, Ph. D.
Commissioners Absent: None
Staff Present Bill Mitchell, Staff Liaison

Speakers: Ilango Ganga, Bike and Pedestrian Commissioner
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. Subject: Approve Minutes from the March 4, regular meeting.
Commissioner Soundararajan made a motion to approve the Minutes. Commissioner
Bollineni second the Motion.
Motion passed 4-0-1 with Commissioner Du abstaining.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the commission
on any matter not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes a person. In
most cases, state law will prohibit the commission from making any decisions with
respect to a matter not listed on the agenda.

OLD BUSINESS
2. Subject: Review 2020 Workplan
Staff Liaison Mitchell provided an update on the 2020 TICC Work Plan. He mentioned
the six Work Plan Items were approved by the City Council.
Bicycle and Pedestrian Commissioner Ganga spoke to inform the Commission of the
Bike & Ped Subcommittee Group form to work on technology used for traffic safety. He
made a formal request for Bike & Ped Subcommittee to collaborate with TICC.
The Commission established a Traffic and Video Subcommittee and assigned
Chairperson Mohanty and Commissioner Bollineni. This Subcommittee will focus on
Items 1 and 2 of the Work Plan: Traffic Management and Video Analytics.
The Commission established an additional subcommittee to work on Climate and
Conservation and assigned Commissioners Soundararajan and Garg. This
Subcommittee will focus on Items 3 and 4 of the Work Plan: Climate Monitoring and
Conservation.
The Commission reviewed the Wireless and Fiber Optic Master Plan. With Bike & Ped
Commissioner Ganga leaving TICC, Commissioner Bollineni is the only member.
Commissioner Du requested to be a part of the Wireless and Fiber Optic Master Plan.
They will focus on Item no. 6 and provide guidance on the to be Developed Wireless
Master Plan.
5. Subcommittee Report
Staff Liaison Mr. Mitchell informed the Commission at the City Council meeting of May
5 there was a Study Session on Small Cells. He mentioned he will reach out to the
Public Speaker to request contacts for a Public Presentation.

1. Subject: Commissioner Report from the Mayor’s Meeting
Commissioner Du provided general comments from the Mayor’s meeting.

The Commission reviewed the Action items List.
11. Subject: Review Activities Calendar.
The Commission reviewed the Activities Calendar.

12. Commissioner Updates
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Soundararajan made a motion to adjourn at 8:24 pm. Commissioner Du
seconded the motion.
Motion passed unanimously.
