The area assessed 21695 R GNART RD , related to the view angle of a new second-story addition to the home (see diagram titled "Privacy Needs"). 9501 I observed a row of newly planted as well as mature evergreen trees planted no further than 20 CU RTIN01 CAN feet apart along the back property line. The green screen was provided chiefly by two mature Brazilian pepper trees (Schinus terebinthifolius) and a pine (Pinus radiata). Closely-spaced pittosporum hedges flanked the proposed view angle on the sides of the back yard. These evergreen trees and shrubs were spaced to provide a screening affect with overlapping canopies. The existing heights of the plants were significantly augmented by the hillside, which sloped upward from the house to the back property line. Screening plants conformed to maximum spacing requirerrlents for their species as listed in Cupertino document "Privacy Screening Materials" (see attached). In cases where their specific species was not listed in the guidelines, I SYMBOL LEGEND PROJECT DATA SHEET INDEX used the spacing requirements for species of a comparable size and growth rate.
