BACKGROUND Commissioner Charlon McIntosh has notified staff of her resignation effective immediately. This creates an unscheduled vacancy with a term ending January 2008. There are six applications on file, up to a year old, from people who had expressed an interest in serving on the Technology, Information, and Communications Commission, and they will receive specific notice of the new vacancy. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that City Council include this vacancy in the annual recruitment process.
