AT 6:00 PM TO A TIME PRIOR TO ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AT THE
REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON JUNE 1, 2021; AND NOTICE OF
CONTINUATION OF THE JUNE 1, 2021 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
(STUDY SESSION) HEARING (CONSIDERATION, DELIBERATION, AND
DECISIONS) AT 6:00 PM TO THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
(STUDY SESSION) ON JUNE 4, 2021 AT 6:15 PM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the hearing during the special meeting of the
Cupertino City Council held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 6:00 PM was continued
for the purposes of hearing public comment on all items listed as Item #2 (study
session) on the June 1, 2021 City Council agenda to a time prior to oral
communications at the regular meeting of the City Council on June 1, 2021.
NOTICE IS FURTHER HEREBY GIVEN that the hearing during the special
meeting of the Cupertino City Council held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 6:00 PM
was continued for the purposes of hearing, consideration, deliberation, and
decisions on all items listed as Item #2 (study session) on the June 1, 2021 City
Council agenda to the special city council meeting (Study Session) on June 4, 2021
at 6:15.
Subject: Recommendation from the Parks and Recreation Commission to
approve funds in the amount of $92,900 for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021‐22
Community Funding Grant Program; annual funding for the Cupertino
Historical Society in the amount of $20,000; and approval of final funding
amounts for the Community Funding Program, to be included in the
Recommended Budget for FY 2021‐22. (Continued from May 18).
Recommended Action: Consider the recommendation from the Parks and
Recreation Commission to approve funds in the amount of $92,900 for the
FY 2021‐22 Community Funding Grant Program and consider annual
funding for the Cupertino Historical Society in the amount of $20,000.
Determine and approve final funding amounts for the Community Funding
Program, to be included in the Recommended Budget for FY 2021‐22;
and provide direction to staff.
These will be teleconference meetings without a physical location. Directions for
accessing the meetings are posted on the agendas.
