SUBJECT: DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE ACTION LETTER—Application EXC-2021-001
This letter confirms the decision of the Design Review Committee, given at the meeting of
October 21, 2021; approving an R-1 Exception Permit to allow a reduced side-yard setback of 5-
feet to accommodate a new garage addition to an existing single-family residence where a
combined side-yard setback of 15-feet is required in the R1-7.5 zoning district, located at 10300
Imperial Avenue, according to Resolution No. 336.
Please be aware that if this permit is not used within one year, it shall expire on October 21,
2022.
Also, please note that an appeal of this decision can be made within 14 calendar days from the
date of this decision. If this happens, you will be notified of a public hearing, which will be
scheduled before the City Council.
