Service Order No. 1 – Scope of Services
Task 1: Streetlight Transition Assessment Updates
CONSULTANT shall meet with relevant City staff to review the City’s Streetlight Transition Assessment and
identify any requested changes. Once changes are identified, CONSULTANT shall provide an updated
version of the Assessment that may include such changes as additional baseline information regarding
existing fixtures’ color temperature and lumen levels, as well as specific financing opportunities.

Task 2: LED Streetlight Fixture Pilot
The purpose of the pilot is to evaluate recommended Light Emitting Diode (LED) streetlight replacement
fixtures to determine their appropriateness for the City. CONSULTANT shall:
• Identify recommended locations for the installation of pilot fixtures and provide to the City for
approval.
• Coordinate the City’s direct procurement of the recommended pilot LED streetlight fixtures,
including providing part numbers, cut sheets, and distributor information, as well as assisting with
the preparation of the Purchase Order (material costs are estimated to be approximately $250
per fixture, with a total of 6 – 8 fixtures ordered).
• Upon the City’s installation (by City crews) of the pilot fixtures, conduct field measurements of
light levels (of both the installed pilot LED fixtures and a corresponding subset of the City’s existing
LED and induction fixtures).
• Develop a report providing findings from the pilot installations, including wattage, lumen levels
and color temperatures, compared with existing LED and induction fixtures, as well as their
impacts on final design recommendations.
