RESOLUTION NO. 98-166
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING
THE UTILITY USERS EXCISE TAX TO THE RANCHO RINCONADA AREA IN
THE EVENT OF ITS ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
WHEREAS, the City Council is considering the annexation of property in the
Rancho Rinconada area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to conduct a public hearing to consider the
adoption of an ordinance extending a utility users excise tax to the property which may
be annexed and to discuss additional steps to be taken prior to annexation.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 6th day of July, 1998, at 6:45 p.m., in
the Council Chamber, City Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California, is the time
and place fixed for the public hearing;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be published in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 15th day of June, 1998, by the following vote:
