Proposal for Map Checking Services
Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for the opportunity to present this proposal for surveying services in connection with the above referenced
subject site. BKF Engineers is pleased to offer the following scope of service.
MAP CHECKING & REVIEW
BKF will provide technical map review that addresses all provisions of the California Subdivision Map Act and local
ordinances applicable at the time of approval of the tentative map. We will make sure that these provisions have
been complied with and that the map is deemed technically correct for processing through departmental approval.
BKF Licensed Land Surveyor will check the normal jurats of the coversheet, i.e., Owners, City Surveyor, City Engineers
Statement, Surveyors Statement, Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and Recorders Statements and Title for clarity,
continuity and content. The review will be submitted in a redline format for the Map and written letter format for the
Final Map Review. These reviews will be submitted to the city staff for final review and distribution to the applicant.
Compensation:
BKF will provide the surveying services based on a lump sum fee of Three Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($3,800)
Deliverables:
· PDF copy of final map comments
Schedule:
We anticipate that we will be able to complete the survey within 2 weeks from the date of authorization to proceed.
