A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECEIVING THE DECLARATION OF ELECTION RESULTS FOR THE
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON FEBRUARY 5, 2008
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino conducted a general municipal election on
February 5, 2008, to elect one members to a v~icant seat on the Cupertino City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Registrar of Voters oi.'the County of Santa Clara, State of California,
has conducted the official canvass of the re-turns of said election in accordance with the
appropriate provisions of the Election Code of'the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Registrar of Voters has certified that the attached document (Exhibit
A) is a full, true and correct statement of the v~~tes cast at said election; and
WHEREAS, the City Council declares that the candidate who received the most votes
for the position of City Council member was rQark Santoro; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Cupertino hereby receives the Certificate o~f Election Results of the General Municipal
Election of February 5, 2008.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 4th day of March 2008, by the i°ollowing vote:
