Re: Tree Evaluarion Report Dear Mrs. Chu, , 'The following evaluation is submitted for your consideration. This report is to advise you about the statis of a Privet tree Iocated in your back yard. Attached to this report is a picture for your easy reference. THE TREE: This tree in quesrion is a Privet (Ligustrum japonicum). It has a trunk diameter of 12-inches, measured at 48-inches above soil grade level. Its height is appromately 20-feet, witi has a spread of 15-feet. This tree is located right next to the back perimeter fence. THE PROBLEM: This tree is completely dead, vith approximately 100% loss of foliage within its crown. MY PROFESSIONAL OPI1vION: Due to frequent irrigation, thi;; tree has developed root and collar rot. The amount of damage the tree has incurred, shows it's in an advanced stage of decay. Since the location of this .ree is very close to your home and others, it poses a threat for complete failure by uprooting. We strongly recommend it be removed as soon a:; possible. Before removing this tree, you will need to attain a tree removal permit, from the City of Cupertino. I'm confident that once the city evaluates this tree and the situation, they too will not hesitate to grant the removal permit. Our suggestion whn deciding a replacement tree would be to gick one that's not`susceptible to <ak root fungus. t-°:. °-} Ti2 -o io - 7 Aplication Number fo -/o - • .,_..... +",l/ aqe , ` If we can be of any further ass .stance, please advise.
