SUBJECT: RETROACTIVE TREE REMOVAL PERMIT ACTION LETTER - Application TR-2011-25:
This letter confirms the decision of the Director of Community Development, given on June 24, 2011,
approving a retroactive tree removal permit to allow the replacement of three (3) dead White Alder
trees (Alnus Rhombifolia) at 10436 Manzanita Ct. in the Oak Valley Planned Development District,
with the following conditions:
1. APPROVED PROTECT
The approval is based on a partial site plan and field inspection by staff, except as may be
amended by conditions in this resolution.
2. TREE REPLACEMENT
The applicant shall plant one (1) 24" box of California Bay (Umbellaria Californica) and two (2)
24" boxes of Madrone (Arbutus Menziesu) trees in accordance with the City's Protected Trees
Ordinance. The required replacement trees shall be planted within 60 days of the effective
approval date of this tree removal permit.
3. PROTECTED TREE COVENANT
The applicant shall be required to record a covenant recording the replacement tree as a protected
tree within 30 days of planting the replacement tree in accordance with the City's Protected Trees
Ordinance. Failure to do so may result in code enforcement and/or administrative citations.
4. NOTICE OF FEES, DEDICATIONS, RESERVATIONS OR OTHER EXACTIONS
The Conditions of Project Approval set forth herein may include certain fees, dedication
requirements.
Staff has made the findings necessary to grant the retroactive tree removal permit in accordance with
Section 14.18.140 of the Protected Trees Ordinance.
