PUBLIC COMMENTS In direct response to public comments received during the notice period, several project specific conditions have been added. Among them, the demolition of the south garage wall shall require installation of a temporary fence, the second story bedroom window on the front/southwest corner shall be obscured and inoperable, and the proposed redwood fence shall have a solid concrete foundation to reduce the likelihood for rot/decay. Furthermore, a drywell is required to collect and dispose of excess storm water runoff. Lastly, construction vehicle parking along Scenic Boulevard has been restricted due to the narrow street width. Comments and concerns pertaining to the overall size and mass of the home were reviewed and conveyed to the property owner. As the property conforms with the development standards of the zoning district, and in some areas, is well under the maximum allowed thresholds, staff is supportive of the application as proposed.
