RESOLUTION NO. 13-047
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ORDERING THE STREET NAME CHANGE OF SAN JACINTO ROAD TO SAN JUAN
ROAD, PURSUANT TO SECTION 5026 OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 12-035, declaring the intention to change the street name
of San Jacinto Road to San Juan Road was adopted on May 7, 2013, at a regular meeting of
the City Council at 10350 Torre Avenue; and
WHEREAS, It appears that notice thereof was duly given as required by law; and
WHEREAS, from the evidence presented,both oral and documentary, it appears to
be to the best interest of the City to change the street name of San Jacinto Road to San Juan
Road.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That all or any protests against said name change be and hereby are overruled
and denied.
2. That the name of San Jacinto Road is hereby changed to San Juan Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City Clerk be and hereby is instructed and directed to cause a certified
copy of this resolution, attested to and sealed with the official seal of the City, to be
recorded with the County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, California
forthwith.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 4th day of June, 2013 by the following vote:
