A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ACCEPTING QUITCLAIM DEED AND AUTHORIZATION FOR
UNDERGROUND WATER RIGHTS FROM CHAO-YUE LIU AND
DAPHNE W. CHEN, HUSBAND AND WIFE, AS JOINT TENANTS,
21831 SAN FERNANDO AVENUE, APN 357-15-039
WHEREAS, Chao-Yue Liu and Daphne W. Chen, Husband and Wife, as Joint
Tenants have executed a "Quitclaim Deed and Authorization", which is in good and
sufficient form, quitclaiming all their rights in and authorizing the City of Cupertino,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, to extract water from the underground basin,
underlying that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino, more particularly
described as follows:
All that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, as shown and delineated on the attached
Exhibits "A" and `B".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Cupertino accept said
"Quitclaim Deed and Authorization" so tendered; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to record
said "Quitclaim Deed and Authorization" and this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 3`a day of March 2003, by the following vote:

DESCRIPTION OF LAND FOR QUITCLAIM DEED
FOR
UNDERGROUND WATER RIGHTS
TO THE CITY OF CUPERTINO , CA .
All that certain real property situated in the City of Cuper-
tino, County of Santa Clara, State of California, being the
Easterly 50 feet of Section 111 of "Map of Subdivision 'A' Monta
Vista" which Map was recorded on April 11 , 1917 in Book (Volume)
"P" of Maps at page 20 , Santa Clara County Records, described as
follows :
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of said Section 111 on the
northerly line of San Fernando Avenue, 40 feet wide;
Thence along said line, West 50 . 00 feet;
Thence leaving said line, North 198 .42 feet to the northerly ine
of said Section;
Thence along said line, East 50 . 00 feet to the northeasterly
corner thereof;
Thence along the easterly line thereof, South 198 .42 feet to the
point of beginning. Containing 0.228 of an acre, more or less.
Refer to EXHIBIT "B" , PLAT, which is hereby made a part of this
description.
