A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3212 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS FOR OBTAINING FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE UNDER THE FEDERAL CIVIL DEFENSE ACT
WHEREAS, Federal Government property may be available for City use
on a loan basis to strengthen the civil defense capability of the local
jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council authorize an individual
to execute applications and documents for the City of Cupertino;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Cupertino that the City Manager or Acting City Manager execute for and in
behalf of the City of Cupertino, a public entity established under the laws
of the State of California, applications and documents for the purpose of
obtaining financial assistance under the Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950,
As Amended, (Public Law 920, 81st Congress, 50 U.S.C. 2251-2297).
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Cupertino this 17th day of February 1981 by the following
vote:
